India receives $4.3 billion loan from World Bank

Talking to media, Mr. Roberto Zagha, World Bank Country Director for India, said, “This is a crucial time to support India. While the worst of the crisis seems to be behind us, doubts linger about the strength of the comeback. Today's support will help maintain credit growth and continued infrastructure investments.”
Uttar Pradesh gets new DGP

However, no official reason has been mentioned behind the removal of Mr. Vikram Singh. Vikram Singh is a 1975 batch IPS officer, and had been leading the UP police force since the Mayawati govt came into power in 2007.

BharatMatrimony.com Sues Google for Trademark Infringement

The case was filed by BharatMatrimony.com, one of the leading matrimony website of the country, owned by Consim Info.
In the case, which has been registered in the Madras High Court, it disclosed that when a user does a search with the keyword BharatMatrimony, Google shows ads of its competitor websites like Shaadi.com.

ISRO Ready To Launch Oceansat-2

The launch of satellite will help identify potential fishing areas and in costal area studies from Sriharikota.
While talking to press, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) sources said that the launch will take place at 1153 hrs on September 23. They added that the 970 kg satellite would be launched from ISRO’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV). The satellite will also carry six European nano spacecrafts, which provided European look to the mission.
