Asus unveils M20 & G60 in India

Asus has announced the launch of its two new GPS-enabled smartphones including M20 and G60 in the Indian market.

The newly launched models are available in the market at the cost of Rs 31,900 and Rs 29,900 respectively.

The new M20 has 2.8 inch touch screen and is loaded with recently launched Windows Mobile 6.5 Operating System. The handset, which weighs just 99 grams, has 3Mp camera and ‘car –finder’ feature as well.

Tata Steel to construct hospital in Orissa

Tata Steel is all set to help the needy people in Orissa as it has planned to establish a 200-bed hospital at Gobarghati in Kalinganagar industrial area of Orissa’s Jajpur district.

The new hospital will have 24x7 services, a pathology lab and outdoor complex. About 10,000 people will get benefit with the establishment of this hospital.

Around four-acre area has been acquired by the steel giant for building up its hospital. The company is building the new hospital for the families working in its green field steel project in Kalinganagar.

Hrithik announced as new brand ambassador of Provogue

The Provogue India has appointed Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan as its new brand ambassador in order to strengthen its connection with youth.

Amitabh will not appear in Couture Week

Amitabh Bachchan will not appear at the opening ceremony of the Couture Week as a show-stopper as fashion designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla have decided to move out of the HDIL India Couture Week at the last minute.

Jain and Khosla have withdrawn from the Couture Week citing disrespect shown by the company’s personnel managing the whole event.

Suzuki launches green concept cars

Suzuki is all set to launch its SX4-FCV (fuel-cell vehicle) car.

The company will introduce Suzuki Swift, a plug-in hybrid version car, and a hydrogen-powered SX4. These two cars will be introduced by the company at Tokyo Auto show this year. Both cars will be the center of attraction at the auto show.

Karbonn Mobile unveils dual SIM touchscreen phones in India

During the opening ceremony of T-20 Champion League, Karbonn Mobiles has announced the launch of its two new handsets named ‘K560’ and ‘K460’. The company has also announced itself as official sponsor of the South African team ‘Cape Cobra’.

Karbonn Mobiles, the United Links’ and Jaina’s joint venture, came into existence in March 2009 and doing quite well. The company has over 1.5 million customers And 500 service centres across India. 

MTS India to offer free access to toll gates in Noida and Gurgaon on Oct 9

MTS India, the CDMA mobile service of Sistema Shyam Tele Services Limited (SSTL), has announced that it would provide free access to all vehicles on Delhi-Noida DND flyway and Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway on October 9.

SSTL has offered this interesting facility to mark the launch of its mobile services and super-fast data services in the National Capitali and NCR.

MTS will not charge any money from the vehicles traveling between 9 am to 11 am and then 5pm to 8pm on October 9. The service would be offered for all vehicles moving in or out of New Delhi.

Reliance announces BlackBerry Tour in India

Reliance Mobile, major telecom provider in India, has announced that the company has joined hands with Canadian firm Research In Motion to roll out BlackBerry Tour smartphone for its CDMA consumers in India at Rs 27,990.

The company will start selling BlackBerry Tour, a 3G-enabled smartphone, from October 12, 2009.  

Kawasaki Ninja 250R launched in Indian market

Kawasaki Bajaj is all set introduce its new model of sports bike named ‘Ninja 250R’ in the Indian market. The new sports bike will be available in the market at the price tag around Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 2 lakh. Bookings for the new sports will start from Diwali and deliveries will be made immediately by the company.

The new Ninja has 249cc four-stroke engine, 32 bhp, DOHC, liquid cooled parallel twin draped in green, with a claimed fuel consumption of 42.5 kpl. The spares will be imported from Japan and Thailand.
