During the opening ceremony of T-20 Champion League, Karbonn Mobiles has announced the launch of its two new handsets named ‘K560’ and ‘K460’. The company has also announced itself as official sponsor of the South African team ‘Cape Cobra’.
Karbonn Mobiles, the United Links’ and Jaina’s joint venture, came into existence in March 2009 and doing quite well. The company has over 1.5 million customers And 500 service centres across India.
The company is also sponsoring another T-20 Champion team from South Africa ‘Diamond Eagles’. The company already has its circle in Bangladesh and now aiming to boost its existence in Sri Lanka and South Africa,
K560, one of the handset launched by the company, is a dual SIM mobile phone with touch screen. It also features FM radio, recording, video player, 2MP camera, A2DP Bluetooth, GPRS and has an expandable memory up to 8GB. The new handset will be available in the market at a price of Rs 5, 000.
On the other hand, K460 is a slider handset with 300 hours battery back-up. It is powered with FM Radio, recording, MP3 player, video player, camera, WAP, GPRS, MMS and expandable memory up to 8GB. The new K460 is priced at Rs 4,000..
While talking to reporter, MD of United Tele links, Mr. Sudhir Hasija said, “We aim to bring fantastic features and great technology in mobile handsets. We are a small company and our entire products are priced at a range of Rs 2000 to Rs 6000.”
