State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) has launched new night tariff packs for festive season.

Under the newly launched night packs, users can make local calls at 20 paise per minute and STD calls at 50 paise per minute between 11pm to 7 am. BSNL has also introduced a GPRS pack, which includes unlimited data services at the cost of Rs 230 and valid for 30 days.

BSNL said, “BSNL has launched aggressive pricing strategy to increase penetration in the country as well as to make its products competitive and value for money in this fiercely competitive market.”

BSNL has also introduced two new SMS packs at the cost of Rs 30 and Rs 50 respectively. With the SMS pack of Rs 30, users will be charged 10 paise for every local as well as national message. Through Rs 50 SMS pack,. the users can enjoy 300 local and national SMSes free for 30 days.

BSNL has also launched 1paise/sec pulse pricing scheme in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Orissa.
