Tandberg Data has launched DAT tape drives and media products designed specifically to fulfill SMB needs. The newly introduced media player offers storage capacity up to 160GB on a single cartridge.

The new DAT tape cartridges are light in weight, small, compact and easily transported for offsite storage. DAT tape drives are available in two choices 72GB or 160GB with an option of configurations and interfaces.

The new Tandberg DAT160 is capable of WORM (Write Once, Read Many) functionality, which is cost effective for users and has long term archiving. The new DAT160 tape drive allows user to store data for decades.

The company offer DAT72 drive at the cost of $499 (Rs 23,832) and the DAT160 at the cost of $749 (Rs 35,766). It also provides three-year warranty and one-year advanced replacement service.
