Samsung rolls out Corby @ Rs 9600

Samsung Electronics Co Ltd has added another touchscreen handset to its list. The company has launched its new touchscreen handset named ‘Corby’ in the Indian market. 

The newly launched handset is basically designed for style-conscious youngsters.

Corby is powered with 2MP camera with a CMOS sensor, which allows capturing all special moments. It has a 2.8inch QVGA TFT LCD touchscreen with 262K of color. The new Samsung Corby also supports various Value Added features such as Pop-Up SNS, fashion jacket, Cartoon UI, One Finger zoom, dictionary and Smart Unlock. It also has 960mAh battery.

The Samsung Corby also backs up different video as well as audio file formats. The video file formats include H263, MPEG4 and WMV, while audio file formats comprise Poly 64, SP-midi, i-melody, MP3, AAC, AAC+ and WMA. It also supports EDGE/GPRS and Quad Band networks.

The new Samsung Corby weighs only 93 gram, and measures 103 x 56.5 x 12.0 mm. 

The new handset is priced at Rs 9600, and is available in market in four colors i.e. Jamaican Yellow, Cupid Pink, Minimal White and Festival Orange.
