Software major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced that it has signed a two-year multi-million dollar deal with Singapore-based People’s Association for application management services.

People’s Association is a constitutional board under Singapore’s Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports.

In a communiqué to NSE, TCS said that it will develop and maintain software applications for the association.

While talking to media, Mr. Girija Pande, Head of TCS Asia-Pacific EVP said, “Our expertise in AMS, combined with our ability to deliver certainty of results will provide sustained value to People's Association.”

TCS has been working in Singapore for the past 20 years, and has over 30 customers such as Singapore Airlines, Citibank Asia Pacific and General Electric.

In the mean time, the company has not disclosed the exact value of the contract with the Singapore government body.
