Television actor-presenter, Annu Kapoor has recently turned down the offer to be a part of ‘Big Boss’ season 3. The actor told reporters that the he was invited many times to be a part of Big Boss but felt that the show is against his culture.

Presently, the actor is working in Madhya Pradesh’s commercial capital for promoting Season 4 of the TV programme ‘Smart Shrimati’ and said he was happy with this show on Doordarshan.

While talking to media, the actor said, “More than 75,000 women applied for entry this time round and those from non-Hindi-speaking states are also taking part. Last year, the programmer’s TRP (television rating point) was 24.69, which was much higher than other shows. This time, the winner will be weighed in gold.”

He also said, “I can not compromise with my values because of `Big Boss`. But my decision is personal.”

This season’s Big Boss will be hosted by Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan.
