Heavy rain interrupted normal life though-out the country

After three days heavy rain, the national capital got a breather morning today, but the Met officials said that the city may receive light rains later in the day.

Delhi has recorded 11mm rain till Saturday morning.

While talking to press, a met official said, “Till 8.30 a.m. (Saturday) 11 mm rainfall was recorded. During the day an overcast sky with light rains is predicted. Towards the evening the sky will become partly cloudy.”

A down fall in the rainfall is likely due to declining of the cyclonic circulation over Madhya Pradesh and the low pressure system over Uttar Pradesh.

Other cities had also faced the same situation as that of national capital. Heavy rain lashed Kanpur and its nearby areas also, the city records 150mm of rainfall, which disrupts the normal life.

According to the statement issued by Mr. Anirudh Dubey, an agriculture scientist in the universityd, “The farmers will surely benefit from the rains as the paddy crops will not need water for the next 15 days.”
