Telecommunication major Bharti Airtel has launched its mobile-based payment application application called ‘mChek on Airtel’.
The new service will help Airtel customers to make payments on the voice platform.
Addressing to media, President of mobile services, Bharti Airtel, Mr. Atul Bindal said, “There is a tremendous potential for voice-enabled m-Commerce services in India and we are giving a huge thrust in this area.”
With the help of mChek service, all Airtel users can make safe and faultless m-transactions, like paying Airtel mobile bills and fixed line bills, recharge Airtel prepaid and digitalTV accounts, recharge Delhi-Gurgaon expressway too tags, pay insurance premiums, buy gifts, tickets to shop just through their mobile phones.
To access this service, Airtel customers will have to dial a toll free number 543219.
As per security point of view, mChek on Airtel involves a two-step authentication process.
Presently, the service can be accessed through SMS, USSD, J2ME and SIM application and WAP.
