MSI, renowned computer hardware manufacturer, has launched its new motherboard called the MSI nForce 980-G65 in the Indian market. The NF980-G65 supports an AMD processor and comes with a supplementary NF200 controlling chip.
The newly introduced motherboard comes with an AM3 socket and can back up the latest Phenom II CPU. It also includes an Nvidia nForce 980a chipset and can support
3-way SLI processing.
The NF980-G65 is reported to be based on the MSI’s new Active Phase Switching (APS) Technology, which cuts out the unnecessary energy consumption and saves power.
The most unique thing about the gaming platform is that it supports Easy OC Switch technology, which allows the user to change the CPU performance by upgrading the FSB by using a simple switch.
Moreover, a dual memory channel supports and the 4+1 phase power design to further boost the performance.
The motherboard also features a true blue-ray audio premium 7.1 channel audio chip, several connectivity ports such as Gigabit Ethernet, FireWire, HDMI+DVI and six SATA 3.0 Gbps.
