LeT terrorist arrested in Delhi

A suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist was arrested from the capital along with some explosives.

The special cell of Delhi Police averted a major attack in the state.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Alok Kumar, the LeT terrorist was arrested at the New Delhi Railway Station at around 12:40 pm.

He added that the police seized 5 kg RDX, three detonators and two timer devices from the arrested LeT terrorist.

The special cell has recovered a Pakistani passport, a voter I-card issued in Jammu & Kashmir and two other I-cards from the terrorist.

Moreover, he was carrying a fake I-card named as Salim to misguide the police as he was mentioned Yousuf in the passport.

Apart from this, the police personal also recovered a train ticket for Maharashtra from Yousuf, which indicated that he had arrived in the national capital to carry out some terror attack.

The police officials were investigating the whole matter.
