Samsung Electronics, the world's second largest handset maker, has launched OmniaHD, the sequel to its popular Omnia Smartphone, in India.
The company official disclosed that Samsung has no plans to sell the phone in the United States considering the consumer usage pattern and technology difference.
The new Samsung OmniaHD will cost around Rs 33, 990 in the Indian market.
The handset, which comes with a 9.4 cm AMOLED screen, has 5MP camera. Other exciting multimedia applications include DiVX programs that permit users to access both audio and video files without recording them, Global Positioning System capability, FM radio and Bluetooth functions.
Meanwhile, the phone has 16GB internal memory and the maximum memory card capacity of 32GB card,
Besides this, the other handset launched by the company is OmniaPRO, which will cost around Rs 16, 500. The new OmniaPRO has Windows OS. The phone has a 3 MP camera, FM radio and Wi-Fi compatibility.
