HTC Holiday’s prototype revealed online

The prototype of the upcoming Android-based smartphone from HTC, Holiday has been revealed on the internet.
A prototype was seen on Craigslist and the man who bought it uploaded the images to a thread over at XDA. The screne shots of the device indicate the rumores specifications for the device might be accurate.

Nokia launches Nokia X6 and Nokia X3

Nokia has launched two touchscreen phones i.e. the X3 and X6. Both the new handsets are for the entertainment segment and are also Facebook-ready.

The Nokia X6 has a very charming look, with a slim 14mm frame and 3.2-inch 640x480 touchscreen. Further, it includes a trendy 5-megapixel camera, 32 GB of storage, and 35 hours of music playback. 

On the other hand, Nokia X3 has a playback capacity of 26 hours.

Users can get direct access to Facebook with the Nokia X6, and that makes the difference.

Intex rolls out two Dual SIM card phones

Intex has launched its two new dual SIM phones, named as Intex IN 4477 at Rs 3800 and Intex IN 2020 at Rs 2800 in the Indian market. 

The company hopes that the new phones would line up the subsisting Intex phones in the country. 

The newly unveiled phones are budget friendly and low-priced. The new Dual SIM phones come with astounding features.

Yahoo to replace SpotM with Guru

Yahoo India has decided to shut down the social networking service SpotM, which it began examining in India a year ago.

Yahoo will supersede ‘Guru’ as a substitute of SpotM.

From the month of September, Yahoo’s main intention is to start new social networking project. With the SpotM, user could keep secret friends from others and they can also send them text messages without unveiling their phone numbers.

MSI unveils the NF980-G65 AM3 motherboard

MSI, renowned computer hardware manufacturer, has launched its new motherboard called the MSI nForce 980-G65 in the Indian market. The NF980-G65 supports an AMD processor and comes with a supplementary NF200 controlling chip.

The newly introduced motherboard comes with an AM3 socket and can back up the latest Phenom II CPU. It also includes an Nvidia nForce 980a chipset and can support
3-way SLI processing.

HCL Tech Q4 net up 25.51% at Rs 193 crore

HCL Technologies has reported a gain of Rs 193 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009, a growth of 25.51% over the same period a year ago.

During the corresponding period of the last fiscal, the company had a loss of Rs 13.54 crore.

In its filing to BSE, software exporter has said that the total income during the quarter has climbed to Rs 1,145.54 crore as against Rs 1,107.75 crore in the June quarter of the previous fiscal.

Autodesk comes out with mental ray standalone renderer

Autodesk has launched the new version of its 3D character animation software, MotionBuilder 2010.

The software has an enhanced shading language system, which helps user to extend the Autodesk 3D shared library. It also works independently as other Autodesk 3D programs using a command-line interface.

Windows, Mac OS X and Linux platforms also support the new standalone application. The Mac version of mental ray 7.5 is limited to Autodesk Maya 2010.
