Income Tax Department raids on Koda’s property

The Income Tax Department raided at 70 places in eight Indian states for investigation against the charges that were made on former Jharkhand CM and MP for having disproportionate assets, on Saturday.

IT Department Director Ujjal Kumar Chaudhary said that his team is currently probing Madhu Koda and his liaisons Vinod Kumar Sinha and Sanjay Chaudhary for havind disproportionate properties at 70 places of eight cities of the country.

He further added that the search operation is based on the intelligence reports received recently.

LeT terrorist arrested in Delhi

A suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist was arrested from the capital along with some explosives.

The special cell of Delhi Police averted a major attack in the state.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Alok Kumar, the LeT terrorist was arrested at the New Delhi Railway Station at around 12:40 pm.

He added that the police seized 5 kg RDX, three detonators and two timer devices from the arrested LeT terrorist.

Buddha idol recovered, two arrested

The Khiri police arrested two thieves and recovered a gold idol of Gautam Buddha worth Rs 3.5 crore.

The 3.485 kg idol, which is centuries old, had been stolen from Kushinager during the last month.

As per the sources, the Khiri police arrested two thieves including a former army man Vishnu Kushwaha, who is the resident of Koraon, and Pappu Patel, a resident of Khiri.

At the time of interrogation process, they disclosed the full story about the idol.
