Star India has announced the launch of its Hindi general entertainment channel (GEC) Star One and Tamil GCE Star Vijay on mobile TV platform.

Star has joined hands with Apalya Technologies PVT Ltd. for streaming its satellite channels for mobile users across all leading operators and regions.

In the beginning, Star will launch the service with video-on-demand content.
