Maruti Suzuki to launch new power-packed variant of SX4

The new variant will come with a new BS4 engine having a capacity of 1.6L, which will provide better pick-up and enhanced performance.
The existing version of Maruti SX4 was launched by the company to compete with Honda City and Fiat Linea in the premium car segment.
Maruti Suzuki unveils limited edition of new Alto Xcite

As per the statement issued by the Maruti Suzuki India, the new Alto Xcite has very attractive features. The new car includes front power windows, manual central locking and remote boot opener.
Maruti to launch a new revived Estilo
Submitted by Navjot Singh on Thu, 08/27/2009 - 07:22India’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch a new model of Zen Estilo. The new model is reported to have the latest KB series engine.
These KB series engines are said to be very fuel efficient and also fulfill the Bharat stage IV and Euro V emission norms.
The Gurgaon manufacturing plant of the Maruti has been selected for the production of the new Estilo. It is the same plant from where the A-Star and Ritz has been manufactured.
The new car is expected to cost around Rs 3.06 lakh to Rs 3.32 lakh.
Maruti to construct R&D unit in Rohtak
Submitted by Navjot Singh on Tue, 08/25/2009 - 09:46India’s largest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki has announced to establish a research and development complex at Rohtak in Haryana. The Company has already been allotted a 700 acres of area for this purpose by Haryana government.
Mr. Shinzo Nakanishi, Maruti Suzuki MD and CEO has signed the land allotment agreement with Mr. Rajeev Arora, HSIIDC MD in Rohtak on Friday. The proposed R&D unit is reported to be the largest such unit by Suzuki Motor Corporation (SMC) outside Japan.
Maruti gets 700 acres for R&D plant
Submitted by Navjot Singh on Sun, 08/23/2009 - 06:35The government of Haryana signed an agreement with Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) concerning the allotment of 700 acres to the latter for setting up state-of-the-art and the country’s largest automobile research and development centre to be set by the MSIL.
The agreement was signed by Managing Director of the MSIL Shinzo Nakanishi and MD, HSIDC, Rajiv Arora in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
