HCL rebranded 'MiLeap' series as 'ME' series

HCL Infosystems, Indian IT major, on Thursday, has re-branded its existing 'MiLeap' series of laptops as 'ME' series. The company has announced that it will make an investment of over Rs 50 crore in the next 2-3 years for rebranding of notebooks and netbooks.

The rebranding exercise is expected to raise company’s market share to 20 per cent. Currently, the company has a market share of about 7 per cent.

HCL signs 5 yr deal with Dr Pepper Snapple Group

Leading global IT services provider, HCL Technologies Ltd. (HCL), on Tuesday announced that it has won a contract from US-based beverages producer Dr Pepper Snapple Group (DPS) to provide IT application support and infrastructure management services.

As per the agreement, HCL will deliver application support to DPS and manage and monitor its infrastructure for a period of five years.

Apart from this, the Indian IT firm will also deliver managed print services to DPS under the contract.
