Debut of Indiabulls Power was not impressive; closes down by 13%

The company lifted Rs 1700 crore with the help of public offer of 39.08 crore shares. It has decided to keep the price at the upper end of the price band.
Indiabulls power is listed in National Stock Exchange too, and it fell down by 15.11% at Rs 38.20 there. The company has observed an intra-day low of Rs 35.35 on the National Stock Exchange.
Godrej Properties to unveil IPO in 3 months
Submitted by Kamal Gupta on Sat, 09/12/2009 - 10:05Adi Godrej, Chairman of Godrej Properties Ltd (GPL) has announced that the GPL will unveil an Initial Public Offering (IPO) by the next 3 months.
While talking to media, chairman said, “We have already received regulatory approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India.”
Adi Godrej also said that the company will issue new shares equal to 10% of the company to the public and 3.5% new shares in a pre-IPO placement. Further, he said that the company is eyeing more projects in the affordable housing segment.
NHPC to get listed on bourses on Sept 1
Submitted by Navjot Singh on Sat, 08/29/2009 - 08:12Under the second term of Congress-led UPA government, Mumbai based NHPC would list its shares on the stock exchanges on September 1.
It would be the first public sector firm to be available for trade.
The statement issued by the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) said, “From September 1, the equity shares of NHPC Ltd shall be listed and admitted to dealing in the exchange.”
The issue price of NHPC shares has been fixed at Rs 36 per share.
