Melanie Thernstrom was 32 and the pain began in her neck but she went for the swim despite this. The pain travelled from there to her right shoulder and then hand.
Thernstrom went to see various doctors but followed a suggestion given by a neurologist that the pain would subside on its own.
Mental illness affecting more college students
A recent data has suggested that there is a rise in the number of college students who suffer from a mental illness.
About 3,265 college going students had gone for using campus counselling services between September 1997 to August 2009 and this data had come from there. The disorders that were treated there were self-injurious behaviours, mental disorders and suicidal thoughts.

TVS has announced the launch of its new ‘Gold Bharat keyword’ featuring the newly released rupee symbol for Indian currency.
TVS claims that it has become the first manufacturer to produce the keyboard that incorporates a key for the new Rupee symbol. The new symbol resembles Devanagri ‘Ra’ and Roman ‘R’ and was announced as the symbol for the currency by the government last month.
